This is from a senior shoot I did this past week. Was probably one of my favs. Taken at the high school field house. One studio strobe light, no overhead light. Manual settings f/7.1, 1/50 sec, iso 100 @46mm.

Gosh, I can totally see why this went to the cream of the crop! I hope you made a copy of it for this fellow? It will be his favorite photo ever taken of him while being a football player!It's so dramatic and deep. Was he praying? Meditating? Afraid of the big team he was going up against and giving himself a pep talk for inner peace before game time? Awesome image in every way. Natural lighting was sure the way to go here, too!!! Big congrats on it being a finalist. I'm surprised it didn't go gold. Your gallery is very impressive, Cassie Girl! -Lala (My name in Hawaiian).
