Hi, Rey, thanks for stopping by, and for your supportive words.
Yes, it was a terrific show ~ I was there for four hours, and didn't capture even half of the photo ops around me.
But, as time passes, you can expect to see a dozen different color combinations from the orchid and iris families, and any number of other plants and flowers. :)
Too much fun!!

Thanks for your friendly comments, Debbie and Chris. I had never seen these plants until the Garden Show two years ago.
The time of day made all the difference. The photos two years ago had too little light at 6:00 PM ~ none turned out well enough to enter.
This time, I made sure I was at the orchid display/sale area by 4:00 PM. You can see the difference. There were already shadows forming, but I knew the glossy look of the plants would prevent any problems. I really lucked out!

Strange - I remember stopping by this beauty and I thought I had commented too. I guess I didn't.

MARE! GASP! WINNER! WOW! I love the deep shiny rich luster of the red part. (Okay techno-stupid here! I don't know what to call it )

What I do know is I have never seen this variety looking so beautiful!

What a wonderful time you must have had!!!

The Annual Garden Show is both great fun and exhausting. For further info, check your "in" basket! ;-D
