I agree that this is super cute! And you DO have sharpness on the ring, but I do agree that the softness in his face is a distraction here :(

I hope the day doesn't come soon when I'll be "gumming" it like this cute little guy is. :o)Same reaction to the softness issue, but the softness is preferred to the results the filter produced. Sorry.

Just for the challenge of it, I tried to recover some of the sharpness and was a bit successful, but it was pretty far out.

i'm with jeff the softeness isn't working for me no matter how cute he is. I definitely don't care for the first post I don't like the halo around the dog, and the over sharpness it caused on everything. But a very funny picture of him.

Sorry Beth I have to agree here. Just to far out on the focus and the filter made it worse. If you can get him to do this again I think it is worth a re-shoot as it is an incredibly cute shot.

Thanks for everyone's honesty. I just really liked it and wasn't sure it could be any sharper. I tried but no luck.
Peter, he wasn't told to take out the trash, he was just sharpening those puppy teeth!!!
These guys are probably all in new homes, so I will try and get some of the other litter.
