Model Peri, spins a LED hula hoop on the beach. This is an art that was so fun to research and when I found professional hoopers in town that also do fire dancing..we all couldn't wait to do this photoshoot. It took a couple months of planning and photo research, but I think we pulled it off!

What camera setting did you use and why? Also, I assume you used a tripod? Thanks!

Thank you! Actually, I didn't use a tripod. I know most use them for lights, and you should, but I just don't like to use them if I don't have to. I move around way too much to get different angles.
I also used various shutterspeeds at different times of the sunset. I wanted Peri to look crisp, but be the sillohuette and did ISO at 100.

Thanks Jillian:)
I don't use my tripod either and for the exact same reason and with the new cameras with the anti-shake feature they are pretty forgiving.
Anyway, it's good to know...otherwise I am not to sure I would of tried that kind of shot at all without the hated tripod.
THANKS AGAIN...Happy Shooting!
