We had a full eclipse of the moon back in December. We were suppose to have clear weather at the coast and I thought an eclipse over the ocean would be great. It was clear up to about 2 hours before the eclipse was to start and then the fog rolled in so back home I went. Fog all the way up to about a mile from my house. So I drive 350 miles to end up taking the photos 5 miles from my house. I was lucky to get the images I did because the fog moved in just after the eclipse was full. Hope to have a better lens the next time.Have a Great Day

It would have been terric to just see the eclipse, Denny! We had heavy cloud and light rain while it was happening here!

Amazing Denny and tonight if you have a clear sky see if you can see the Northern Lights! We have solar flares from the sun hitting the Earth today and tonight and tomorrow causing a terrible storm out there in the atmosphere!!! If you go to my Facebook wall right now I just posted some live footage!!! This is as amazing collage and you worked hard to get these terrific images! No matter your lens! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!
