The Making of 'Big Southerly Coming #2': No matter how large the print, it still does not do this scene justice. That southerly storm head was enormous and I had the devil of a job fitting it all in the frame with my lens zoomed all the way back to 28mm. As it was, my heels were on the edge of a cliff and I had to jostle to get my spot and hold my ground due to the amount of local photographers who descended here that afternoon. This is the fiftenth in a series of nineteen waterscape photographs chosen by the developers of Coast Apartments in my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. The large black and white prints grace the walls of the foyers, gymnasium and lift on permanent display in the luxury complex. Enjoy! GB
