This is our little Josie, who disappeared from the campground on the September long weekend. We lost her where we found hour, but it was a lovely 3 years in-between.

I'm so sorry she isn't with you anymore. Such an adorable cat. Was she as 'good" as she is "beautiful"? Glad to see you got a well-deserved EP on this one!

:) Josie was the assistant manager of the campground, she would lay in the lawn chair in front of the office, greeting arrivals. She was well loved by our seasonal guests. Josie would deliver barbecue to her favourite guests in the form of furry rodents each morning. It would become a bit of a competition, about who got the most mice on their doorstep over the season.

I'm not much of a cat lover, but this is very well done. Nice work!

She's a lovely cat, and like Rita said . . . Look at those eyes.

I'm sorry she's not with you anymore.

Hi Joan;
This image is an awesome way to keep the kitty memories in mind. Her eyes are amazing! I also, enjoy her tiger patterning and her fur looks so soft. The warm golden b/g perfectly accentuates this gorgeous feline!!
Love It!
;) CC

Joan -- I, too, find it very unsettling, that you lost her exactly where you found her. Maybe she sensed that she needed to get back for some reason. Animals have senses that we can only imagine. I just loved that one little cat that we found on our doorstep a couple of Januarys ago. After about a month and a have the daughter of one of our neighbors came back here to the Springs to take her back to her dorm. Ringo was what I'd named him but he turned out to be a Tuna. And Sampson was even starting to warm up to him.

Thanks all! We miss Josie, however, we do have the two kittens to keep us amused, (and awake far to early). I will have to get some shot's of them soon, while they are still in their "cute" (and somewhat annoying) stage.

Oh and Debbie, Josie was a little stray, abandoned in the campground. Apparently she had been their for several days or even a week before we found her. Having spent that much time out doors, she always wanted to be out and about. We kept her in, or leased when she was outside, but this year when we returned she simply insisted on going out. We knew it was a risk, but gave in to her. She had a bad habit of getting into the bed of trucks, and we suspect she unexpectedly went on a trip. We just hope, she is alive and well, and has found a good home with someone who loves cats.

Good grief... have completely lost it with the english language, please change the incorrect to to too, and the their to there.... I have become far too dependent on spell check which is no help with homophones LOL.

Such a beautiful cat, and I am sorry she is not longer with you. Maybe next year she will show up again. My last cat looked just like her.

What a beautiful kitty and you got such great clarity in what seems like a lower light situation. I do hope that she found some really nice people to take her in and spoil her. The only thing I could have seen as an improvement in this image would be the banding in the background. That could have been blurred out more. But regardless of that small detail it's well deserving of an EP. :~)

Had to chuckle when I saw this image because it looks as if she is posing for a formal portrait. Delightful.

Thanks Dale and Aimee! It does look like she posed doesn't it?

Aimee the "banding" is actually the door frame to our bedroom in the rv and the horizontal one is the stairs.... that, the wall behind her, the stairs are all white maple (which has aged to more golden maple) so its not a photographic error, or editing technique... just natural, I am not concerned about it, personally.

Need to get my camera out, running out of stuff. LOL

So sorry to hear the cat has disappeared. This reminds me of a cat my family had when I was growing up and the only cat I've ever liked - LOL. Such beautiful eyes and such great detail you captured. A very pretty kitty.
