The Making of 'You're Not Going Out in That!':

This is the sixth in a series of nineteen waterscape photographs chosen by the developers of Coast Apartments in my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. The large black and white prints grace the walls of the foyers, gymnasium and lift on permanent display in the luxury complex.
The series gives the viewer a journey from the Hastings River, that runs through the town and down the coast to The Gap at Diamond Head Beach in the Crowdy Bay National Park.

With my boots being lapped by the last ripples of the waves as they crawled up the beach I heard the deep 'whump' of the waves as they hit the rocks and felt the sand shake beneath my feet.

It is another image where the 'grain' caused by enlarging a relatively small file and the B&W processing gave the print "a nice old fashioned look" the the clientss liked.
