New Holland Honeyeater
New Holland Honeyeater (Phylidonyris novaehollandiae) feeding on Banksia speciosa flowers. Lake Monjingup, Western Australia.
I was watching the birds for quite a while as they jumped from branch to branch and I noticed that they used to sit frequently on these two flowers. I have pre focused on the flowers and waited patiently. Here is the result. Hand held.

Beautiful capture here. Either the bird is really small or the flowers are really big. Which way is it?

Thank you Ann, Liz, Barbara and Michelle for your comments. The New Holland Honeyeater is a small bird 17-19 cm, and is a little bit smaller then the Banksia flower.
