Big Basin Redwoods State Park

It takes me about an hour to drive to Big Basin in the Santa Cruz Mountains, mainly because the 2 lane road is so twisty and narrow. It's an ideal spot to hike among these giants and lose yourself in their majestic beauty.
These trees are all between 600 to 1000 years old and stand between 150 to 200 feet tall.
There are trees here over 300 feet tall and older than 2000 years old.
