Perfect body language on the Mom - a definite protective warning stance and look at that baby - mildly curious and a bit cautious but all big-eyed at the human intruder at the same time. :) Your black bear captures are not only technically and aesthetically pleasing, they show the many wonderful qualities these magnificent animals possess for one another as a family unit. Excellent work, once again, Phyllis!

Wonderful Image! Good luck in the next round! Politics alert!! I have to mention - I live in NV and last weekend was the first legal bear hunt in decades. Not against hunting really - but I think this kind of "Shot" is so much better! Capturing the beauty of wildlife for all to enjoy just makes more sense to me. And this is a beautiful pic. Congrats!!!
