Good luck at Lassen. I have never been there. Looking forward to your posts. Our next trip will be back to Alaska in Spetember for fall colors and primarily Bear Viewing. I have several backcountry trips planned, so I hope to get some nice images of the bears fishing for salmon.

Hello Mary, thank you for your kind comments. Yes, I'm fortunately blessed to live in central California ... it's beautiful here in the wine country, but I'm pretty much 2 hours in any direction to some spectacular country. My intention is to visit as many of our country's national parks before I leave this Earth.
