Phil and I visited his brother, John, in hospital again this afternoon, and it seems the antibiotics they're giving him may take up to a week to clear his infection! :o( Hopefully, then he will be able to have the defibrillator fitted! ;o)

Gorgeous backlit leaves on the Liquidambar tree in our neighbour's yard! Captured very late afternoon, in late autumn, on the 23rd of May 2011...

Simply gorgeous Carolyn sure do like the way you got the light here.

I hope it is not staff infection. Darn John has had enough of all this attention I am sure. I hope you told him we are sitting on needles and pins waiting for his return.

You are the opposite season of me. The lighting makes this shot spectacular. All my best to John and a speedy recovery.
