Wow, Songbird - what an absolutely exquisite image!! It's a perfect entry for the theme this month!! It's a truly fantastic close-up capture of the raindrops on peony petals, too - the clarity of detail, light, textures, tones and composition here all are just outstanding!! I also love the magnification of the petal details through the raindrops!! :o)

Songbird, you're most welcome!! You say you "keep plugging along working at improving (your) images" - well, you seem to be doing a *really* great job of that, going by even only the first page of your gallery!! I keep trying to do the same - photography is a wonderful 'journey', isn't it?!! :o)

You are indeed fortunate "to have such beautiful things in (y)our garden" to photograph!! We have quite a lot, too...although mainly flowering shrubs and trees...and we also have Lake Macquarie within short walking distance!! Keep up the exceptional work with your photography, my friend!! :o)
