Jay, you never disappoint, what a great image. You feel like you're down on one knee and right in the scene. That 17-40 must have been 8 inches from the ground! Beautiful piece. Those two wide cracks in the FG are perfectly placed, you get yanked right into that canyon. Send this one to ESS on NPN, we need a good shot in the arm over there. ;-)

Thanks for all the comments. It was a unique find. The recent flooding had left the floor of the canyon wet enough to make the crossing difficult. We arrived just in time to catch a clean pattern without any foot prints.
