Tribute to the U.S.S. Arizona
This structure within the University of Arizona Student Union Memorial Center is an architectural tribute to the memory of the sailors of the U.S.S. Arizona, who lost their lives on December 7, 1941 in the attack on Pearl Harbor. The shapes, curves, and domes are designed to evoke features of the battleship. This is an upward view in the multi-story cylindrical drum, the central element of this tribute. 3 image HDR, f16, 1/40 sec, 18 mm

Love how my eye went straight up the column and then around the blue tones and then continued to enjoy the rest of the lines, once again resting on the blue window. Very nice! what a neat tribute to your dad... dad's are great! (no matter what age they could be )
