Hi Kay,That is a cool looking woodpecker like all the beautiful color.Great capture,out here in Arizona.When you see holes in the Saguaro cactus,they were made by the Gila Woodpecker!!!!!!

I just saw one of these beauties as I was driving up the road perched in a tree! They are the coolest of all woodpeckers..and I think the biggest! Had one hopping in my backyard once for an hour and haven't had one since (in almost 8 years!!) Thanks for sharing your great photo!
