Thank you all! Shelly - When taking these kind of shots I take them in the shade or on an overcast day starting with the following settings. ISO 100, Aperture Priority, F16. I expose for the brightest part of the scene, which is usually the white part of the water. I may make a few adjustments, but that's usually about it.
