The Chain Bridge in Budapest

The Chain Bridge in Budapest
The Chain Bridge in Budapest
This bridge, one of the most famous landmarks of Budapest was completed in 1849 and was the first bridge to connect the metropolitan city of Pest to the historic city of Buda. At the foot of the bridge is the Gresham Palace and beyond that, St. Stephen's Basilica.
Budapest was the first stop on our journey through Eastern Europe and we found it to be an absolutely beautiful city!
Congratulations to all you winners and finalists last month while I was away!

Ann- What a fantastic story about this bridge and the fact that it is two cities that are connected by it. The view is so beautiful and the composition and depth amazing. I am amazied at the beauty of the city, love that domed building in the backgroud. What I am especially awed with is the clarity and the intense sharpness of the little details. That is some fantastic camera work my friend. Gorgeous work.
Have a wonderful day.
