Charlotte, Both the lens and camera are part of it. The lens is 100-400 canon zoom and the camera is also the 1dmark IV. I shot this at f 5.6 with a shutter speed of 1/1600. The focus is AI focus. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Bummer! I'm noticing that most "people" winners are usually more portrait looking vs. action or decisive moment. However, the first place winner this month was an action shot. I tend to favor these kind of images.
