Blown glass has been around for centuries, most likely discovered during the Roman Empire around 50 B.C. At that time it was considered a luxury and owned by the wealthiest of people. The process evolved for its utilitarian reason and from that the artistic and creative design and decorative elements came to be.

Hi John: I went to a glass blowing factory last week and took some photos. All I had to do to
finish this image is use Topaz Adjust 4 until I blanked out the back ground. They also have a filter
that is called, “I feel lucky”, sometimes when you go through this you come up with some
Interesting stuff. The Detail 2 has the same option. But all in all, this photo is very similar
to one I took. If you would like to see more, go to: www.klissglass.com. Hope this helps, let me
know. Sincerely, Merna

Rita---Rita! I once knew a Rita, she was sweet and beautiful. She went wondering one day, I have nothing left but sweet memories.
Thank you for checking in on me…..I took almost 300 photos today at the wedding. I do not
have the guts to look at them. I may save them until you get back.
Wayne and I hope that you both are having a glorious time, be safe and bring back
images to inspire us. Your friend, Merna

Hi Carolyn: Thank you for the response and the comment. It is so appreciated! You can find
more of these items at: www.klissglass.com, they are so beautiful and expensive. I watched them
make these glass beauties for about 2 hours. On the next special occasion, I am going to save
pennies and purchase it for a gift.
