There is nothing I can say that hasn't all ready been said Carol. I have seen bugs like that and If I am not mistaken they can bit like a burn or close to it. It may be harmless but his looks would scare most folks.

Kinda looks like the Tennessee tick I had buried in my chest from my last visit to that state. Only your photo makes himi look so much more beautiful, especially on those beautiful pastel colors of the iris. Well seen and captured, Carol.
