From the archives:this photo was taken while driving through the battlegrounds in Gettysburg,Pennsylvania. The sun was shining behind me, but those clouds...and the threat of a storm...was the focus of attention.

There is just something I love about red barns and lighthouses. Beautiful country capture Jack. Im glad you were able to take it before that storm arrived!

Gettysburg is about 2 hours from where we live so we go there frequently. It is a beautiful place. Last Summer we went up in July for the reenactement. It was wonderful and highly recommendment. This is gorgeous. Excellent composition and colors, Jack.

Think I can hear thunder rumbling in the distance when I look at this, Jack - what an ominous, threatening sky. Perfect light to make those colors pop, tho, and they sure did! A beautiful rural capture of this historic location.

Great Country Shot
Sky is " NASTY " whick is great for the shot and throw in a BIG RED BARN. A cann't miss capture in my book.Been to Gettysburg twice age 11 w/Great Grand parents & 14 yrs ago when #1 son was looking at colleges. No Pics
