I love the story here - love the way he's leaning into the side there and the pop of yellow of the receiver in the largely neutral palette, the details and the slightly off-center composition. Wonder if he's talking to a girl - or just calling his mom for a ride home :) I was very pleased with the variety of subjects in your November entries, Chris. There were many that attracted me but I'm making this my favorite.

Thanks so much, Nikki, for your great comment. This was (as were most of my Nov. images) from the BP Summit Photo Shoot in NYC; my team leader was Ibarionex Perello, who is all about shooting people pics on the street, so it was a huge step outside my comfort zone. (Shooting someone from behind definitely is the sneakier, easier way ;) I too liked his stance... couldn't tell if it was a pleasant phone call and he was just casually leaning, or if it wasn't a happy call. There's almost a resignation in his posture, I think.
