Late morning out my kitchen window (not ideal conditions, but what a moment!)Nikon D300, 18-200mm VR lens, 1/50sec @ F8, 800 ISO,135mm.

I had been shooting snow-covered berries out another door and came back through the house and into the kitchen to put the camera away when I realized this juvenile hawk was checking out our feeder. I had just enough time to take a few frames before it took off. I tried to adjust the contrast to highlight the bird and added a slight vignetting effect in CS2.
