Great pov, Gerri. Showing all of the splendors of fall, and the distant Niagara city line with great power between really makes this photo an action shot of time. It seems as the whole sky is filled with spray from Horseshoe Falls.

Thanks very much Carolyn, Kathy, Christina, Michelle, Jack, Agnes, Justin, Tess and Marty for all the great comments! I was surprised to see as much fall color still remaining down by the falls yesterday when I arrived. It was a bit overcast with the sun peeking out occasionally. Marty...the falls (as you probably know) always seems to have its own unique weather patterns, because of all the mist. Yesterday was a good day to catch that special mist filled sky hanging over the falls...not much wind. Thanks again for the comments everyone! :)

Thanks so very much Julianne and Susan! Of all the images I have taken from this angle, I think this one really shows how the falls and mist come together to create a powerful presence...it is worth taking a trip to see, if you have not ever seen them.
