Drowning In A Sea Of Flowers

BetterPhoto.com Photo Contest Finalist   Drowning In A Sea Of Flowers
Drowning In A Sea Of Flowers
aperture 8, shutter 350. I was at the park with my dog, I was taking photos of the bluebonnets. I turned around and my dog must have been tired of waiting for me to move or walk farther because when I looked at him, he was laying down. I couldn't resist snapping this photo.

Hi Carol, Kristen, LeeAnn, Donna, Bob and Diane...I really appreciate all the great comments you have left me. This is my bud and I'm proud of this shot. I'll be hanging it in my house somewhere, just because it has "Sir" in it. I adopted him two months ago from the humane society and we have really hit it off. Thanks again. Liz

I love this photograph and the story behind it. You've really captured a special moment here. I was also happy to hear you adopted your friend from the humane society. That's icing on the cake. You two make a great team.

Wonderful capture, Liz - I love it! Your buddy looks as though he likes being out and about with YOU, as much as our cat likes US to be out in the yard with him! Most animals are just happy to be with us, aren't they - if we're kind to them?! Congrat's on making the finals with this one - very well deserved! :~)
