Thanks, Deborah. The time involved in any good star trails shot is daunting. I mean, how does one pass the time waiting while the sky turns for two hours? It helps to have company.

Is this suppose to be a photoshop picture?

My question is ... where is this picture taken ... that the northstar is on the horizon?

I had to move the sky down a few degrees
to get it to sit behind the lightouse.
That's the Pt. Reyes LIghthouse and
the approach to it was closed so I
couldn't get underneath it to face north.

Truth is, I thought this picture was
the biggest flop, and almost threw it
away. Of course it's a photoshop picture. I didn't mean to deceive.
I'm known here for my Pshop manipulations.
