Unbelievable beauty here. I don't often call my husband over to see an image but I just made him come see this one!

He said he'd love to see the whole rock as you approached it.

VERY IMPRESSIVE, Stephen! It just doesn't get much better than this.

Wow. I haven't subscribed to this newsletter so all this feedback came as quite a surprise! I have rectified that omission. Thank you for all your comments.

Laura -- apologize to your husband for me. I don't have a setup shot of the site where I found this hole in the rock. It is in an area of jumbled boulders so I didn't have to climb. But the hole was just above eye level and the ledge around the base of the formation only let me get back a few feet away from the foreground. I will most definitely look through your gallery. One day I'll make it to the Rockies.
