Clevis and Cotter--sounds like a team of detectives, doesn't it? :) Knew what a cotter was, but never heard of a clevis. Nicely done macro, Nikki, with its combination of composition, light, and texture.

Fantastic lighting and textures, Nikki!!!

Clevis (n) A U-shaped metal piece with holes in each end through which a pin or bolt is run, used for attaching a drawbar to a plow.

Cotter (n) A bolt, wedge, key, or pin inserted through a slot in order to hold parts together.

I looked it up too...but, I knew what they were, having grown up on a farm and helped my Dad! :-) k
