These Rainbow Lorikeets were having a lovely dinner in the palms trees on the round-about in the main street of Laurieton, NSW. Lens aperture F/3.2, shutter speed 1/97sec, focal length 18mm, 6pm.

What a great capture Chris, they certainly are noisy birds! Fancy us both posting an image from Laureton on the same day!

Thanks John. Isn't that the best view, looking over Laurieton. I think Tony could talk me into moving there!!

Nice to see these lovelies in the "wild"....we have them in our local little zoo where you can feed them, but sadly they are enclosed...but the aviary is very large so they can fly...oh well....this is a wonderful capture, Chris....

Wonderful capture! The bright colors of the Lorikeets against the "dinner" gives it a great contrast!

Amazing capture in their own element Chris! I saw some at the Louisville Zoo and everybody was laughing at me, one had messed in my hair :-D We got to feed them sugar water, couldn't get over how cute they are.
