Perfectly composed, Ed. Certainly this wouldn't be a MLB baseball; one graze in the dirt and you hand it to the ump to eject it. A hundred years ago they would use a ball until the tobacco juice made it impossible to see. You brought out some wonderful details of the game with scuff marks, ground dirt and an S curve. Very creative.
