Thanks for all the comments! To answer Wanda-Lynn's question, I prefocus my Nikon 300mm F2.8 manually, on a tripod, with two other flashes at 45 to the focal point w/36mm and 20mm extension tubes and use a remote trigger when the hummer arrives. I always make sure I can matte out the background and the extension tubes help that as well as allowing me to get in so close. I hope that helps Wanda-Lynn. I have view all your galleries and really like your work.

Christian, Here's the information you were asking for; F11 @ 1/250 sec, Nikon 300 mm F2.8 w/36 mm extension tube, tripod for camera, two tripods for two flashes set at 45 from the point of focus (which was manual focus) flashes set to 1/16 power and about 2 feet from focal point, remote trigger for shutter release, WB set at 8300. Then waiting and shooting lots of shots when these quick movers are at the focal point. I hope this helps. Thanks for your comment and those from everyone else.
