Hi Everybody! I am about to visit all of your galleries now but I wanted to stop in first to thank you all! What a huge surprise to wake up and find you all here! YES! The water is ICE cold, and I do mean that. The water is THICK it is so cold! HA! (Adds to the adventure in MY BOOK!) It really is a beautiful run. It goes for miles and takes a few hours... The BIG RUSH is at the beginning and then there are little white waters along the way but MAINLY it's peaceful and filled with beauty. LOTS of Swallows nests and some Eagle Nests and as much as you'd expect to see a bear, you see COWS! There was a bear sighting there a year or two ago. I wonder if he ate a COW? Humm...We never "herd" <--- Get it? HAHAHAHA... Yes. Maxy! Pizza would be perfect on the raft trip. The ice chest fits in the middle of the raft with lunch and goodies! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPORT TO ALL. Just not in a canoe. They flip. You don't see rafts going down. (Much! HA!) Thank you all again! -Laura P.S. Be watching for tonight's post. Last to first: Thanks~ (<--- That's what you often say SZ!) Yes. Splash indeed. On this run there are a FEW really fun SPLASHING moments, too!!! I love rafting! * * * Yes, Kiki! I LOVE rafting. We might go next week again. I would be so scared to bungy. SNAP! Opps. We're sorry! The cord broke! ... NO THANKS!!! ... Please don't bungy... Thanks Carol. The water gets that beautiful color because of the minerals in it. PS helped a little, too!!! HA!
