Chris- Looks like this one needs a bath after all that hard work. Love the name of it, so cool. You did a fantastic job with the focus and getting the colors and features so sharp and clear. Excellent lighting as well. Love the close up of this hard working bird.
Fabulous work my friend.
Have yourself a wonderful day, you take care.

So this is what they look like "in the wild"! I took a pic of one at our Zoo, but it was behind glass. Glad she's a good homemaker! :)

Chris, I wondered why this cute little bird looked so bedraggled... glad you explained she was earning her "nest-building" badge! Great clarity and lighting.

Thanks a lot for your comments on this scruffy old girl, she'll come up as good as new after a quick swim in the pool!!! I've not been quick enough to get a picture of that yet.

  Hi Chris,
I love this bird's name... I too saw one at the zoo behind wire mesh.. too hard to get a picture of her.
I find it so wonderful that you have them close by and free..
How are they as characters? I mean, are they gentle, make funny sounds, a happy bird.. they look it to me!

A wonderful capture of this one's HARD WORK...

CHRIS

Thanks for you comment on this home builder. They seem friendly enough, will rattle the screen door if I'm to slow taking them so food out. They cackle a lot when I talk to them & always seem to be around if anything is going on in the yard.
