Thanks for all the kind comments... Nancie, I used the Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 Midnight Filter with the Blur, Brightness and Color sliders set to 100%, Contrast to 15% or so... and Shadow and Highlights controls adjusted to protect the shadows.
