Hi Sharon, Your story sounds a lot like mine..and I also like "that find" that is so exciting !! Thanks for commenting. Some of this was the chalk brush mixed with oils....It was fun..and I am enjoying learning..btw, she is my granddaughter !! :-)

Hi Shelly ! You are a very young looking grandmother !! :-) They are such fun, aren't they ? Just read your eagle story.....very sad, but the image is wonderful !! and Stef....love, love your new gallery..I didn't know the extent of your talent, but it makes sense coming from such a caring, sensitive person...and you do freehand too !! wow!
