Thank you all so very much for the wonderful positive feeback! As my friend Maria :) mentioned, I had to climb down some very narrow metal icy stairs to decend to the bottom shoreline for this perspective looking up and east. I did wear heavy boots with ice cleats as there was also a few feet of snow and ice on the banks. The park and lighthouse hold a lot of special memories, as we camped there in summers, when my children were growing up. Winter is rather desolate, windy and cold so I would recommend having a friend nearby when shooting here, even though I went alone this time. This lighthouse was featured on one of the US Postal Service series of stamps. Thanks again to everyone for the kind comments! :)
