Thunder Over the Fox
For the monthly theme "Togetherness"F/A-18 Super Hornets over the Fox River immediately following a Pre-Game Fly-Over of Lambeau Field
(Packers vs. Texans 12-07-08).
The price tag on these babies is $57 million each, or $114 million worth of "TOGETHERNESS".
200mm - cropped this one in a bit. I am told by a knowledgable young man named Sam, that these are Navy aircraft that are strictly carrier jets and they are currently considered to be the world's best fighter jet. The only other country to have some is Australia's Royal Air force - they have a fleet of 25.
