Hi, Mary... this is not right in Death Valley proper but is at Death Valley Junction. located across the street from the Amargosa Opera house/Hotel and set back far enough off the road that it would not be photographed often.

I had not visited your gallery in awhile, but when I checked it out, I was blown away by your shot of Death Valley in the Fall. What a gorgeous capture. Looks like a beautiful, peaceful, calm oasis. The lighting is perfect, and I am impressed with the balance of the shot, especially keeping all the detail in the shadows, while not washing out the picture in the sun light. Now one of my favorites!
