Kentucky Roads
Scenery found next to many roads in central Kentucky. The double fencing is to keep in horses. Horses might jump a single fence, but won’t try a double fence. And the stone walls are a familiar sight, many still have the original built by immigrant Irish stone masons.

It's throbbingly beautiful, Randy. How in the world and you do HDR handheld? You must have nerves and muscles of STEEL!

Tammy, Ron, Pamela, Kathy, Carol, Daniella and Michelle, thanks. Recently I’ve had the “opportunity” to try to find representative road side and drive-by spots of Kentucky for shots. Can’t say that it’s been entirely fun, certainly a challenge, but mostly glad it’s coming to an end (as I'm parking the crutches soon :-). But I did find some interesting spots to follow up.

Hand held HDR comment: I have found that on bright sunny, high contrast days, the shutter speed plus continuous shooting & AEB +/- modes, can be fast enough. Not as sharp as tripod mounted if you have the time to set up, and certainly not close to a single shot. But I like the “apparent depth” that HDR gives, so I try it when I can. Some work, some don’t; but as we all know, the joy of digital….
