filter question Is there a problem with putting a circ. polarizer on top of a uv haze filter? Thanks, James

Hi James. If you stack filters you may get vignetting (dark corners) at the wide end of your zoom. Try it and see. You see the effect most on large constant areas of colour, try shooting a blue sky at a reasonably large aperture and see what happens. There are special thin filters available to reduce this effect. Cheers

Is there a difference between a "uv" filter and a "uv/haze" filter?

just in name. I don't think you'd really need to use a uv filter with a polarizer. I don't think the uv filter would affect anything that much once the polarizer did it's thing.
