What does this statement mean: "I shoot cheap lenses so I need a really good tripod." THANKS!

boy, Laura thats a good question.... I dont have a clue but will be a hoot to find out :-)
If all one needs to shoot good images was a good tripod it would save a lot of trouble for a lot of people hahaha

cant wait to find out what that statement really means :-)

  Hmmm...Pamela, you have a point. The statement was made by the owner of a small photo shop in a small tourist town...he had lots of tripods and Nikon's for sale and I assume he is knowledgeable...I should have asked him what he meant, but he already chuckled with his assistant when I asked a question about lenses so I didn't want to prolong conversation.

  If he really meant something at all I'm guessing he meant regular lens with maximum aperture of 3.5-5.6 instead of ones that have a constant 2.8 that cost so much more.
