colour decrepencies on prints


hi, I have recently taken some lovely sunset shots witch are really deep red/orange on both the camera screen and viewfinder and on the pc monitor. the problem is when I print these pictures they come out a really washy bright orange colour rarther than the deep red/orange that im expecting. my printer is an epson c44. any advise greatfully recieved. thanks

  I had something similar happen once and it turned out that my ink cartridge was low on Magenta. I still had plenty of yellow and cyan but had to replace it anyway because there just wasn't enough magenta left to produce red tones.

There are some reasonably priced printers on the market that offer seperate ink cartridges so that you only have to replace the used ones, nice option.
