How to shoot Times Square at night

What brand of film and film speed would you suggest for shooting Times Square at night? Would it be necessary to push the film and if so how far?

Jerry: I have shot Times Square often with ISO 400 film or ISO 400 with a digital camera.

The lights are very bright so you should not need ISO 800 to get fast enough shutter speeds to prevent blur from camera shake.
