Needing Equipment Help! I have just recently decided to turn a hobby into a way to make extra money. I took some photography classes in college and have big dreams of having a huge studio someday. But right now I'm wanting to shoot little league team shots & action pics. I've also shot a few weddings and am going to do some senior and family pictures as well. I'm looking for ideas about a lense for sport shots for my Maxxum 5. Also any help on studio lighting or places that do professional portrait and sports finishing would be wonderful!

I also use a Maxxum 5 as camera of choice!! My standard lense is a Quantaray 28-105mm with a 2x teleconverter when needed. My secondary lense is a Quantaray 70-300mm with the same 2x teleconverter when needed. If you decide to use the 70-300mm lense I would recommend using a tripod to eliminate camera shake- do not try to handhold this lense. Ritz Camera,Wolf Camera, or American Shutterbug handle my developing. Steve M.

Candice, for the sports and portraits' finishes...Ask for FREE catalog from ProPhoto 1-800-237-6429 or visit website ( www.prophotoimaging.com ) or try Shooters of USA ( www.shooterslab.com ) or call 847-934-2005. For the lenses, try Minolta FA Zooms like 80-200 f2.8/ or 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 II LS.
