How is the best way to take pictures of eagles. Is it better to have the whole bird or just the head of the bird. Nathan

I would say there is no final answer to this question. It depends on your goals. If you wanna get a nice shot of an eagle with its spectacular wings wide spread then get the whole bird. If you prefer to study the details of its terryfying curved peak then crop your shot to its head. You just have to think about what you really want. However, I would recommend you to go for both kind of shots - the whole and the details as well. You can have a look at www.camerahunter.com/just_eagles.html to get some inspiration. Good luck!
