Start with what you like to take pictures of. Find out if there's anybody close by that likes the same things, or participates in something that is related. Or start with is there anything that you can take pictures of that somebody would need or would like to have photos of. There's always a wedding that somebody would like photos of. Any place nearby that has horse jumping lessons?

There are horse jumping places like that. I take pictures mostly of animals. Cats and rats are the main ones. There aren't any galleries in my area. Even if there are galleries far out from where I live, they're probably only interested in abstract art. I was thinking I COULD just get large prints of my photos, frame them (or not) and stick a price tag on them but where would I sell them?

pet portraits or portraits of people and their pets. These are pet rats aren't they? Sell them to the people who own them.

The trick is probably finding people to buy them. Does anyone know a web site where I can sell my photos without some sort of fee?
