lighting behind a muslin backdrop?


 
 
When I look at muslin backdrops, I always notice how the center is lighter around the subject. Is this because it is painted or dyed to be this way or is it a light set up behind the subject AND behind the backdrop?

Tonya Autry 		  It can be back lit the seem this way but they do make a muslin that has a center burst dyed in.
