Special Effects How do you take a silhouette?

To take a silhouette, meter off the sky or bright background not off the object to be silhouetted. In doing this, the sky or background will be darker than a 18% gray zone and will make everything in front of it black. This works especially well at dawn or dusk when the sun is low in the sky.
